"COA is similar to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India where professionals need to register themselves. It has no right to give recognition to courses or colleges.

i would like to clear that i have read archiects act -1972. it is clearly stated that the power of dercognization of architectural institute is not with council of architect it is with HRD ministry and councul is only recomadatory body and the main fucntion of COA is maintain the register of architects registration. act says that COA cant refuse/don't have power to refuse grant registration to the person who hold B.ARCH degree from the institute/university which is recognized by HRD ministry. however i understand from this artical by refusing the registation and derecognization of architectural institutes COA is acting beyond his deginated powers detailed in the architects ACT -1972.

A lot of money is spent as bribe by Private architecture college in India to get their recognition from Council of architecture and also to deny affiliation of Prime institutes so that they can charge huge amount as donation....the COA itself have underground politics by Associate architects to reach the governing power...at the end-of-the day these amount are collected from students. how can students from poor family afford this amount for their studies????

Epilogue:
average donation in south India :2.5 lakh.
donation in kerala
MES kuttipuram :6 lakhs.
Devaki ammas college :3.5 lakhs.

fees in the above college: 1.25 lakhs per year.

Things to remember : this 1.25 lakh rupees has to be payed by the student even he/she go for private practice in 4 th year....

appeal:
Dose money means to EDUCATION in india..

...BLOODY EDUCATION AND POLITICS...

The prestigious institution like SPA & NIT can not implent their own rules. They must follow COA guidlines, Apex body of Architecture education.
Not COA, but Ministry of HRD & AICTE is interfering in the buisness of COA, which is not right. They are also trying to misuse CBI.
